Dr. Fox, a native of New York, NY, is one of only a handful of physicians who hold a medical as well as a law degree. He completed his internship, residency, and cardiology fellowship at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, in Hackensack, NJ. He received his law degree from Boston College School of Law and Rutgers Law School.
He joined Florida Cardiac Consultants in 1994.
Dr. Fox is board-certified in Cardiovascular disease and Interventional Cardiology. Dr. Fox is also licensed in Nuclear Medicine in the State of Florida.
Dr. Fox was the former Medical Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory at Sarasota Memorial Hospital from 1999-2005.
Dr. Fox was chairman of the Department of Cardiology at Sarasota Memorial until 2025, the longest serving chairman of Cardiology in the 100 year history of Sarasota Memorial Hospital.
He was voted physician of the year at Sarasota Memorial Hospital in 2012.
He is currently the President and Senior Managing Partner of Florida Cardiac Consultants.
