Blake D. Singletary, D.O., F.A.C.C.

Dr. Blake Singletary, a lifelong Floridian, completed his training at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2014. He completed his internal medicine residency at Largo Medical Center in 2017 and both his cardiology and interventional cardiology fellowships at USF/HCA West Florida in 2020 and 2021, respectively.

Dr. Singletary is board-certified in cardiology and interventional cardiology. He has a clinical passion for cardiac and peripheral vascular interventions, as well as resource-efficient management of heart failure.

Dr. Singletary performs coronary (heart artery) angioplasty and stenting through minimally invasive approaches designed to reduce procedural time and risk. He also performs peripheral vascular interventions, including stenting of arteries and veins in the legs, using similar techniques.

Additionally, Dr. Singletary utilizes temporary left ventricular assist devices, such as the Impella, and performs transesophageal echocardiograms and cardioversions.

When not practicing medicine, Dr. Singletary enjoys casting his fly rod for redfish off the Longboat Key flats or cheering on the Tampa Bay Lightning.
