Fabio V. Lima, M.D., M.P.H., F.A.C.C.
Dr. Lima, a native of Long Island, New York, completed his medical degree at Stony Brook University School of Medicine in 2016. He then pursued his internal medicine residency, cardiology fellowship, and interventional cardiology fellowship at Brown University, followed by specialized training in structural and congenital interventional cardiology at the University of California, San Francisco Medical Center in 2023.
He is board-certified in cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology, with certifications in aortic, mitral, and tricuspid valve replacement, as well as mitral and tricuspid valve repair. He also performs septal defect closure, patent foramen ovale closure, and left atrial appendage occlusion procedures.
Dr. Lima has served on the American College of Cardiology’s Innovation Committee and Future Hub Task Force since 2019. Fluent in Portuguese and Spanish, he enjoys connecting with diverse patient populations. Outside of medicine, he is an avid soccer fan, sailor, and wine enthusiast.
