Our regular office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Please contact us during business hours to schedule appointments, confirm insurance coverage, or request medical records.

If you’re unable to keep your scheduled appointment, kindly call at least 24 hours in advance to avoid a cancellation fee and to allow us to accommodate another patient.

In the event of a life-threatening emergency, call 911 immediately. If you are experiencing severe chest pain, shortness of breath, or symptoms of a heart attack, go to the nearest emergency department. Once stabilized, the hospital team will contact us for continued cardiac care coordination.

If you need urgent but non-emergency assistance outside of office hours, please call your local office and follow the voicemail instructions. One of our on-call providers will return your call promptly.

If your insurance plan requires you to pay a co-payment, co-insurance, and/or a deductible, you will need to pay at the time of your visit. For your convenience, we accept cash, checks, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.

If your insurance is an HMO/managed care plan and you are required to obtain a referral from your primary care physician, the referral must be obtained before you can be seen for an office visit.

Please coordinate this with your primary care physician in advance. Appointments will be rescheduled if required referrals are not received in the office by the time of your visit.

Prescriptions and refills for established patients of Florida Cardiac Consultants Inc. are routinely issued during our regular office hours. You can make your request by calling our office at (941) 917-0060 or (941) 485-8190.

Refills are generally not issued during the evenings, weekends, or holidays, as physicians may not have access to all your medical records during those times. It is helpful to anticipate your refill needs to avoid an interruption in your medication therapy
